Job DescriptionJob Description Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist Fire Safety Systems Inc. - Buffalo, NY Fire Safety Systems Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Buffalo, NY. This position is responsible for managing daily accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall operations of the company. Responsibilities Process accounts payable invoices and vendor payments Manage accounts receivable, customer invoicing, and collections Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies Maintain accurate financial and accounting records Process credit card transactions and expense reports Communicate with customers and vendors regarding payments and account issues Assist with month-end reporting and administrative accounting tasks Support office operations and other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting support Strong organizational and time-management skills Attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft, Excel Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience in the service, construction, or fire safety industry is a plus QuickBooks or similar accounting software experience preferred About the Position Full-time position Located in Buffalo, NY Competitive pay based on experience Stable and growing company environment Fire Safety Systems Inc. is looking for a motivated professional who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and supporting a strong team environment.
