Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. Your expertise in accounting software, financial concepts, and customer service will drive efficiency and accuracy in our revenue cycle management. Duties Process and monitor incoming payments using various accounting software such as QuickBooks Procore and Smartsheets experience a plus Reconcile accounts receivable ledger by verifying data entry accuracy and performing account analysis Follow up with subcontractors to ensure bills are received in timely manner to make billing deadline Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate accounting Conduct account reconciliation regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues promptly Maintain detailed records of client interactions, payment histories, and collection efforts Support the revenue cycle management process by analyzing data, identifying trends, projecting expenses, and recommending process improvements Experience Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles Strong knowledge of accounting principles Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks; familiarity with construction management software like Procore and Smartsheets is a plus Demonstrated ability in account reconciliation, analysis skills, and financial concepts Experience working in construction accounting is a plus Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values accuracy, integrity, and exceptional customer service.
