35 Position Summary Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the Occupancy Specialist is responsible for managing tenant occupancy records, ensuring compliance with government housing regulations, and supporting financial and administrative operations across Brookdale, Israel, and Seagirt Housing Corporations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain required governmental reports for assigned housing corporations Process annual and interim tenant recertifications in compliance with applicable regulations Prepare and submit monthly vouchers to government agencies Respond to tenant inquiries regarding rent and account balances Process monthly rent adjustments and maintain accurate tenant account records Draft tenant correspondence for review and approval by the Site Manager Prepare lease security deposit reports for each housing entity Coordinate with JASA s Accounting Department as needed Prepare and process exception checks for deposit Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate s degree preferred Minimum of two (2) years of bookkeeping or related experience Basic computer and keyboarding skills required Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar programs preferred Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, HUD vouchering and accounting systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal Legible handwriting Ability to operate standard office equipment (calculator, copier, fax, etc.) JASA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
