Bookkeeper (PT)

PT Bookkeeper Greenvale, NY Hours:

8:00am-11am (3-4 days per week) Our store is currently seeking a PT Store Bookkeeper to support our front office operations. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the integrity of daily cash handling processes. Position Responsibilities:

Perform daily safe counts and verify cash totals from store salesCoordinate with armored carriers to receive, organize, and distribute fundsCollect, review, and input payroll-related information into our internal systemExecute all opening and closing bookkeeping proceduresEnsure timely preparation and submission of daily cash packages to the main officeAccurately count and reconcile cash, coin, and credit card receipts against system reportsPrepare and complete bank deposit slipsIdentify, research, and resolve discrepancies or variancesMaintain and reconcile petty cash, store cash funds, and fleet card gas receiptsSupport front-end operations by performing customer service clerk duties, including assisting customers, handling transactions, and providing general store support once daily bookkeeping tasks are completed

Requirements:
