Job Description

We are looking for an entry level Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting team. The individual will be trained both in accounts receivable and accounts payable. Accounting clerk's job duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing and monitoring incoming and outgoing payments along with securing revenue by providing collection support on accounts when needed. Responsibilities Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting customers Matching incoming vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payment of our vendors Preparing weekly check runs Other assignments as necessary Skills Proficiency in English and in MS Office Customer service skills a plus High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
