Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our financial data, facilitate smooth transaction processing, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our accounting operations. Responsibilities Perform data entry and maintain accurate records within accounting software such as QuickBooks, Reconcile general ledger accounts, balance sheets, and bank statements with precision. Prepare journal entries, account analysis reports, and assist with month-end closing activities. Conduct account reconciliation and review financial statements Assist with audit preparations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting tasks to support organizational goals. Experience Proven experience in accounting. Familiarity with accounting software. Knowledge of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis. Experience working with payroll systems Ability to perform detailed data entry with high accuracy Prior experience in public accounting or non-profit accounting is a plus. Excellent math skills combined with a solid grasp of financial services concepts to support accurate account reconciliation and financial reporting.
