Position Summary We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to manage financial records and provide support for payroll and billing functions. This role is critical to fostering strong financial health, supporting daily office operations and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Financial Record-Keeping & Reporting Maintain and organize comprehensive financial records, tracking income and expenditures. Ensure accuracy and accessibility of all recorded financial data. Generate periodic financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets. Provide executive leadership with data-driven insights to support organizational strategy. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting/financial reviews, audits, and reporting. Accounts Receivable and Payable (Support Role for Certain Customers) Oversee timely issuance of invoices and monitor payment collections. Verify invoice accuracy and manage outstanding obligations to minimize discrepancies. Payroll Administration (Support Role) Process employee payroll, calculate salaries, and ensure compliance with tax deductions. Maintain detailed records of employee compensation and benefits. Bank Reconciliation Reconcile bank statements with internal financial records. Identify and resolve account discrepancies promptly. Regulatory Compliance and Tax Documentation Work with CPA to provide information for quarterly and annual tax preparation. Assist in preparation and filing of taxes, ensuring compliance with regulations. Prepare certified payroll reports and workers' compensation reports for compliance reporting. Administrative Duties Office management functions, such as answering telephones & message line, mail routing, etc. Provide operations staff and executive leadership with day-to-day office support.
Pay:
$25.00 - $29.00 per hour
