This position combines payroll administration responsibilities with a variety of accounting and financial operations duties, creating an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a long-term accounting career. Our payroll tax filings, remittances, W-2 preparation, and compliance functions are handled by an outside payroll provider, allowing this position to focus on payroll processing, employee support, accounting functions, reconciliations, and operational support across our dealership group. The ideal candidate enjoys working with technology, solving problems, and learning new processes in a collaborative team environment. What You'll Do As part of our corporate accounting team, you will help support multiple franchised dealerships in a fast-paced but highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities may include:
Process employee payroll accurately and timely Coordinate with outsourced payroll provider Assist employees with payroll-related questions Maintain payroll records and reports Reconcile payroll accounts Reconcile bank statements and schedules Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable Support month-end close processes Cross-train in dealership accounting functions Assist with special projects and process improvements What We're Looking For We are looking for adaptable, detail-oriented individuals who are: Comfortable learning new technology and software Organized and dependable Strong problem-solvers Positive team players Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Motivated to grow professionally Experience We Value Accounting, bookkeeping, banking, payroll, office administration, or finance experience Automotive dealership experience is helpful, but not required Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills Experience with modern software systems is a plus Payroll and/or office manager experience may qualify you for a more senior role No college degree required.
