Sarica Manufacturing, a client of Brixey & Meyer, is looking for an Accounting and Office Assistant to join their team! Join Our Team as a Accounting and Office Assistant! We are seeking an Accounting & Office Assistant to support day-to-day accounting, payroll, and office operations across multiple related companies. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys variety, is highly organized, and is interested in building foundational accounting experience in a hands-on environment. You'll work closely with leadership and experienced team members to support financial processes, assist with payroll activities, and help keep office operations running smoothly.
Your Responsibilities:
As a Bookkeeper, you will:
Accounting & Financial Support:
Assist with general ledger updates, journal entries, account reconciliations, accounts payable tasks, and customer invoicing.
Payroll Support:
Assist with payroll processing, reporting, and provide backup support for payroll-related tasks as needed.
Sales & Transaction Support:
Process customer sales orders and support accurate and timely financial recordkeeping.
Administrative & Office Support:
Provide front desk support, answer phones, manage office supplies, handle mail, and maintain office records and databases.
Additional Support:
Assist with special projects, maintain organized records across multiple companies, and follow established processes while handling sensitive information confidentially.
Your Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you need: High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (preferred) 1-2 years of experience OR relevant coursework, internship, or administrative/accounting exposure Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with accounting or payroll systems is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a structured environment Strong communication skills and willingness to learn Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism U.S. Citizenship is required due to regulatory requirement What Makes This a Great Opportunity Opportunity to build foundational accounting and payroll experience Exposure to multiple areas of business operations Hands-on role with the ability to learn and grow over time Collaborative environment with a mix of accounting and administrative responsibilities Apply Now!
