Job Description

Bookkeeper Job Details; You will provide payroll, bookkeeping, and administrative support for multiple businesses under the same ownership. This role works across several legal entities, ensuring accurate financial records, timely payroll processing, and consistent accounting practices while adapting to varying business needs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail?oriented, and comfortable managing priorities across multiple companies while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Your Responsibilities:
As a Bookkeeper, you will:
Payroll Management:
Process payroll accurately and on time, serve as a backup for payroll duties, and generate payroll-related reports (e.g., attendance, training metrics).
Bookkeeping & Accounting:
Maintain general ledger activity, including preparing and posting journal entries; reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor accounts; manage accounts payable tasks such as invoice processing, vouching, and statement reconciliation; prepare and send customer invoices; and follow up with customers on outstanding payments.
Sales & Transaction Support:
Process customer sales orders and ensure accurate and timely financial recordkeeping.
Administrative & Office Support:
Provide front desk support, answer phones, manage office supplies, handle incoming and outgoing mail, and assist with general office and database updates.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist management with special projects, maintain confidentiality, and follow internal policies and procedures.
Your Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you need: High school diploma or equivalent (required) Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred). 2+ years of bookkeeping or related experience; familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., Paycom) is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Payroll systems Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent communication skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. U.S. Citizenship is required due to regulatory requirement 1st shift Monday-Friday 8am-5pm $15.00 hour Resume and Interview required
