We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Process, verify, and reconcile invoices for payment Maintain accurate accounts payable records and ledgers Review and post financial transactions Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Monitor payment schedules and ensure timely disbursements Identify and capture available discounts Communicate with vendors regarding payment issues Support general accounting functions as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Basic knowledge of accounting principles Strong data entry and administrative skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows-based systems Ability to learn internal software systems Strong written and verbal communication skills High level of organization and accuracy Ability to manage deadlines and maintain confidentiality
