Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will manage and maintain accurate financial records, AP/AR, and more. Your expertise will support the preparation of financial statements, reconcile accounts, and assist with budgeting and financial reporting. Duties Maintain and update the general ledger using accounting software such as QuickBooks. Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data. Prepare and record journal entries, including debits & credits, to reflect all financial transactions accurately. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation regularly to uphold data integrity. Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and governmental accounting requirements as needed. Generate detailed financial reports, including budget reports, financial statements, and audit documentation to support organizational decision-making. Qualifications Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks. Knowledge of corporate accounting practices along with non-profit or governmental accounting experience preferred. Familiarity with bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger accounting. Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for account analysis and account reconciliation. Basic knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, and financial report writing is highly desirable. Join us in a role that combines technical expertise with a passion for accuracy!
