Automotive Accounting / Accounts Receivable Clerk

Herzog-Meier Auto Center is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Accounting / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our accounting team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy and organization, and works well with multiple departments throughout the dealership. This position plays an important role in maintaining the financial operations of the dealership and supporting daily accounting functions. Responsibilities Process accounts receivable transactions and customer payments Reconcile schedules and maintain accurate accounting records Process and track factory rebates and manufacturer incentives Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections follow-up Research and resolve billing discrepancies and chargebacks Work closely with Sales, Service, Parts, and Finance departments Assist with month-end close and accounting reporting Maintain organized documentation and records Support additional accounting office functions as needed Qualifications Previous automotive dealership accounting experience preferred Accounts receivable or general accounting experience required Experience with CDK or dealership management systems is a plus Strong organizational and time-management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel Professional communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and work independently in a deadline-driven environment What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with company participation Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Employee discounts

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
