Position Overview The Bookkeeper plays an important role in supporting the financial operations of multiple restaurant locations throughout our group. This position is responsible for recording daily sales and lottery earnings, managing cash deposits, maintaining financial records, and helping ensure the accuracy of key financial processes. This is a trusted position that requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable handling sensitive information, and enjoys creating order in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is required, as bookkeeping responsibilities occur during mornings seven days a week. What You'll Do Record and reconcile daily sales, cash handling, and credit card transactions across multiple locations Prepare and make timely, accurate bank deposits Maintain organized financial records, including receipts, invoices, and supporting documentation Communicate with managers to verify information and resolve discrepancies Support accounts payable, payroll preparation, and reporting functions as assigned Ensure secure handling of cash and confidential financial information Maintain a consistent bookkeeping schedule across multiple locations, including weekend responsibilities Assist with inventory entry, audits, and special projects as needed Travel between locations to collect deposit bags and financial documentation (mileage reimbursed) What We're Looking For 2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial experience Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software required Strong math skills and a high level of accuracy Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly Reliable, dependable, and able to consistently meet deadlines Experience in hospitality, retail, or multi-location operations is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other basic office software Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
