Job Summary:
Required:
  • Proven experience as a full-charge or senior bookkeeper, preferably in a CPA firm or multi-client environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks and QuickBooks Pro advisor desirable)
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Payroll experience
Summary:
Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our CPA firm. This role involves working directly with multiple clients to maintain accurate financial records, establish new bookkeeping systems, and perform complex clean-up projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple client accounts in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Duties Include:
  • Maintain and manage client books, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Set up new client bookkeeping systems, including chart of accounts and workflows
  • Perform clean-up and catch-up bookkeeping for clients with incomplete and disorganized records
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy
  • Collaborate with CPAs and other team members to support client needs
  • Assist with payroll processing and related reporting (preferred)
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies in financial data
  • Communicate professionally with clients to gather information and provide updates
