Accounts Receivable Specialist –
Transportation & Logistics Industry Location:
Portland, OR (On-Site)
Salary:
$23-25 About the Opportunity Our client, a well-established company in the transportation and logistics sector, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their accounting team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys keeping financial operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of billing, cash applications, and customer account management. Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable Specialist Manage the daily billing cycle and ensure timely, accurate invoice processing. Post cash receipts and maintain up-to-date accounts receivable records. Reconcile customer accounts, research payment discrepancies, and resolve billing issues. Support monthly and year-end close activities through AR reporting and reconciliations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Accounts Receivable Specialist Experience with Sage 100 or similar ERP/accounting software a plus. Excellent organizational and time management skills with a high attention to detail. Self-starter who can prioritize and problem-solve independently.
