Full Job Description A growing company in Sherwood is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Lending & Finance Associate to support residential and commercial financing operations, collections, customer funding coordination, and general finance administration. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in banking, lending, loan processing, dealership finance, collections, or customer finance support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to grow into expanded responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for financing partners and lenders Coordinate lender communication and assist with financing compliance requirements Prepare and submit customer financing documentation Follow up on missing paperwork, signatures, photos, and lender stipulations Monitor loan approvals, funding statuses, and disbursements Help prevent lender funding delays and loan takebacks Monitor lender and funding inboxes and coordinate customer welcome-call follow-up Communicate professionally with customers regarding financing status and documentation needs Assist with collections efforts and delinquent account follow-up Monitor receivables aging and escalate concerns when necessary Support project funding workflows and accounting updates Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Assist with commercial project invoicing, lien releases, and certificates of insurance (COIs) Support QuickBooks, QuickBase, and CRM workflow coordination
Qualifications:
Previous experience in banking, lending, loan processing, collections, finance administration, or customer service preferred Familiarity with lending terminology including DTI ratios, credit scores, loan stipulations, and financing documentation preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and follow-up abilities Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Comfortable communicating with customers, lenders, and internal teams Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Experience with QuickBooks, QuickBase, CRMs, or financing platforms is a plus Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
