Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support accounting operations for a retail organization in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. This is a Long-term Contract position suited for someone who is comfortable managing day-to-day financial records, organizing accounting data, and improving the accuracy of bookkeeping processes. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with QuickBooks and Excel, along with practical knowledge of core accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records by processing transactions, organizing bookkeeping data, and supporting daily accounting activities.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, ensuring invoices, payments, and outstanding balances are tracked correctly.
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and keep records aligned with financial activity.
  • Use QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions to review and refine existing entries, including resolving open deposit issues within the system.
  • Create and update accounting templates, reports, account structures, and class tracking to improve reporting consistency.
  • Assist with system-related bookkeeping projects, including preparing accounting data and configurations for QuickBooks Online setup.
  • Generate Excel-based financial information and supporting documentation to help maintain organized and reliable records.
