Job Description

Small Business Looking for an Accounting Assistant to Fill a Part Time Position. Flexible Hours 1 - 2 Days a Week. Perfect for a Retiree or a Stay at Home Parent. Perform data entry and maintain accurate records within QuickBooks. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies. Support general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and month-end closing procedures. Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks. Strong data entry skills with high accuracy; experience with 10-key typing is preferred. Ability to perform account reconciliation, journal entries, and balance sheet analysis efficiently.
Pay:
$25.00 per hour
