This role must be highly organized as well as possess excellent communication and time management skills while ensuring compliance with proper accounting standards and practices. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate excellent analytical skills and proficiency in various accounting software including QuickBooks. Finally, this position will be responsible for supporting ownership with proper financial record keeping as requested.

Hours:
25-30 hrs./week (On-site, M-F) Key Responsibilities Financial Data Management
  • Record, classify, and maintain financial transactions (sales, expenses, payments) for multiple businesses using QuickBooks. Cash flow funding management and intercompany balancing between multiple EIN's Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Process vendor invoices, manage payments, create and send customer invoices, and track outstanding balances for each business Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation
  • Regularly reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions with the QuickBooks ledger to ensure accuracy Payroll Processing
  • Handle payroll tasks, including processing paychecks, managing withholdings, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll tax submissions, department allocation/billing Financial Reporting
  • Generate financial reports like profit and loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets for each business, and class providing insights into their financial health Expense Tracking
  • Monitor and categorize business expenses to ensure accurate record-keeping Record Maintenance
  • Keep financial records organized, accurate, and audit-ready for each entity Software Utilization
  • Utilize QuickBooks Online features, such as location tracking, separating financial data for multiple businesses or manage them in individual company files Qualifications and Requirements QuickBooks
  • must have a strong working knowledge of QuickBooks software, including managing multiple companies or location tracking 5+ years in Accounting Office using QuickBooks or Sage on a daily basis Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Knowledge of Microsoft products Skills and Core Competencies Attention to Detail
  • Ability to accurately check figures, calculations, and postings. Organizational Skills
  • Maintain organized financial records for multiple entities. Communication Skills
  • Effectively communicate financial information to clients, management, and other stakeholders. Problem-Solving
  • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
