Full-Charge Bookkeeper — Real Estate / Multi-Entity

We're a boutique, family-owned company that's grown fast — and behind every growing business is a set of books that need to be handled right. We're looking for an experienced full-charge bookkeeper to join us part-time and own the financial day-to-day across our family of related businesses. This is not an entry-level role. We're not in a position to train you on the fundamentals — you should already be an expert who can walk in and run with it. Real estate or multi-entity bookkeeping experience isn't a nice-to-have here; it's the job. What you'll do: Own full-charge bookkeeping across multiple related businesses Handle bill pay and accounts payable Run payroll Manage intercompany transactions across entities Keep accounts reconciled, organized, and audit-ready Prepare clean books for hand-off to our tax accountant at year-end Work alongside our operations team in our Kennett Square office What you bring: Proven full-charge bookkeeping experience across multiple businesses or entities at once Real estate bookkeeping experience strongly preferred Strong command of bill pay and payroll Comfort with intercompany transactions and multi-entity structures Accuracy, discretion, and the ability to work independently Available to come into the office — this is an in-person role The honest pitch: We know there are full-time roles out there paying six figures. That's not what this is. This is a part-time role — about 20 hours a week — for someone who wants flexibility and wants to be part of something. We're a tight-knit team building something real, and the right person will have a genuine seat at the table, not just a task list.
