Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager / Bookkeeper to oversee daily office operations and manage financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, experience in bookkeeping, and the ability to supervise staff effectively. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team environment, ensuring smooth office functioning while maintaining accurate financial documentation. Candidates with experience in event planning, vendor management, and human resources are encouraged to apply. Duties Manage daily office operations, including front desk responsibilities and multi-line phone systems Handle bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting Process payroll and manage employee records related to human resources functions Coordinate vendor relationships and manage procurement processes Assist with budgeting and financial planning activities Supervise administrative staff and provide training & development opportunities Maintain filing systems, ensure document accuracy, and handle clerical tasks such as data entry and record keeping Ensure excellent communication through phone etiquette and professional interaction with clients and staff Memorial Sales Counselor - assisting customers with memorial purchases. Qualifications Proven experience in office management, bookkeeping, or administrative roles with a strong background in clerical and organizational tasks Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with schedule management, calendar coordination, and front desk operations Supervising experience with team management skills Knowledge of vendor management, payroll processing, budgeting, and human resources practices Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally This position is integral to maintaining an efficient office environment while supporting the financial health of the organization.
