Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of our company's accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. Your expertise in various accounting software and financial concepts will drive the integrity of our financial data and support strategic decision-making. Duties Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Maintain and reconcile the general ledger using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms. Prepare accurate journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Conduct account analysis to ensure proper classification of debits and credits while maintaining double-entry bookkeeping standards. Generate detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Oversee tax-related activities and ensure compliance with governmental regulations. Perform budgeting tasks and assist with financial report writing to support management's strategic planning. Qualifications Proven experience in corporate or non-profit accounting with a strong understanding of GAAP standards. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, Xero, or equivalent financial tools. Solid knowledge of general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and journal entries. Familiarity with governmental accounting practices and tax preparation is a plus. Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and account analysis. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to perform 10-key typing efficiently and accurately. Experience with payroll processing and technical accounting functions is highly desirable.
