Behind every successful project is a strong operational foundation, and that includes organized, accurate financial processes. As our Accounts Payable Assistant, you'll support the accounting team by helping manage vendor invoices, payment processing, and financial recordkeeping. Working closely with our Senior Bookkeeper, you'll play an important role in keeping day-to-day accounting operations running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organization, working with numbers, and contributing to a growing company in a part-time capacity. What You'll Do Support Accounts Payable Operations Assist with processing vendor invoices accurately and efficiently. Verify invoice details and ensure proper coding to projects and expense accounts. Help prepare and issue payments to subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with company procedures. Maintain Financial Records Assist with maintaining organized digital and paper accounting files. Ensure vendor documentation and invoice records are accurate and accessible. Support the accounting team with day-to-day administrative tasks as needed. Contribute to Team Success Work closely with the Senior Bookkeeper to support department priorities. Help create efficient, reliable workflows that support the broader COCOON team. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with financial information. What You'll Bring 1-3 years of administrative experience preferred, but not required. Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred, but not required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Good organizational and communication skills. Dependable, team-oriented, and eager to learn.
