Job Description

Summary Working under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Assistant is an entry-level role responsible for supporting the accounting function, with primary responsibility for Accounts receivable (A/R) processes and general assistance with other accounting duties. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Process and maintain Accounts Receivable (A/R) activities Issue AR invoices, reconcile invoices and payment discrepancies with internal and external customers, and monitor and manage collection activities. Track payment and collection schedules and ensure timely disbursement of obligations and receipt of funds. Post cash receipt journal entries related to treasury transactions in accordance with established procedures. Coordinate with Accounting regarding approved AR-related cash movements. Escalate unusual transactions, discrepancies, or exceptions in a timely manner. General Accounting Prepare basic journal entries Supporting account reconciliations Assisting with month-end and year-end process Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Support audits and provide documentation as requested Perform other duties as assigned. Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting preferred but not required 0-1 years of accounting experience Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., journal entries, debits/credits) High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with emphasis on strong Excel skills Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience preferred. Experience in manufacturing environment is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with documentation discipline. Team player with high integrity and confidentiality Korean and/or Japanese language ability is a plus. Accounting associate or bachelor's degree Experience in manufacturing environment. Strong Excel Skills SAP experience Korean/Japanese speaking/writing ability Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms. Regular and consistent attendance at the office Ability to travel occasionally if required. Ability to frequently be stationary and sit for extended periods of time. Ability to occasionally stand and walk short distances. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to enter text or data into a computer or other machine by means of a traditional keyboard. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees. Korean language speaking and writing ability is a plus. English language speaking and writing ability. Japanese language speaking and writing ability is a plus.
  • This position offers a hybrid remote work / on-site presence with occasional travel for meetings or company events.
  • Must be comfortable working across time zones.
  • Must be comfortable working in an open-concept office space.
  • Regular collaboration with Accounting and Operations teams required.
