Job Description

The Accounting Operations Assistant is an integral member of the finance team, responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting activities and related administrative processes. This role helps ensure accurate financial recordkeeping, efficient transaction processing, and effective collaboration across the organization. Key Responsibilities Maintain accounts payable records by entering invoices, recording expenses, and processing payments accurately and promptly. Organize and maintain financial documentation, including invoices, internal chargebacks, employee reimbursements, cash receipts, and journal entries to support accurate financial reporting. Record customer or stakeholder billings and payments, prepare deposits, and maintain supporting documentation to ensure accurate and timely accounts receivable management. Provide support to the finance team on special projects and administrative processes to help ensure efficient and effective financial operations. Collaborate with team members across departments to support organizational objectives and administrative requirements. Communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners regarding financial matters and related processes. Organizational Responsibilities Participate in projects and initiatives as assigned. Attend and support organizational meetings, events, and activities as needed. Provides excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications Two to four years of relevant accounting, finance, or administrative experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and accounting software. Working knowledge of basic accounting principles, procedures, and financial recordkeeping practices.
Pay:
$50,000.00 per year
