Accounting Specialist

Job DescriptionJob Description We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a positive mindset, team first attitude to join our accounting team. About Us TTI is a specialized transportation and logistics company focused on Product and Exhibit, Retail, Medical, and Special Project transportation. We are an agent for Mayflower Vanlines, which is associated with Unigroup and United Vanlines. About the Role This is a supportive role reporting to the Controller. General office accounting duties focusing primarily on customer invoicing, cash receipts and daily deposits. This includes the day-to-day processing of cash receipts transactions to ensure that the Company financial records are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manor. The supportive role of this position will be to reconcile accounts and to prepare various reports.

Essential Requirements:

Must be highly organized. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe. Must have solid knowledge of QuickBooks. Must be adaptable to various online systems from online banking to customer portals. Prepare and enter batches of invoices and cash receipts into the accounting software and transportation management system. Manage the weekly and daily processing of deposits Vendor Payable processing and Vendor payments. Prepare Driver Settlement Disbursements Record all credit card transactions. Work in a supportive role to management. Perform other duties and reports as assigned.

Experience:

QuickBooks:

2 years (Preferred) Transportation Industry Experience (Preferred but not required) Minimum 4-years of accounting experience required Minimum 2-years accounting degree required; Bachler's degree preferred
