We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist (Hybrid) for our North American headquarters in Streamwood, IL.

What You'll Do:

Support general accounting functions including journal entries, monthly account reconciliations, and financial reporting tasks Review and resolve customer deductions related to trade promotions, pricing discrepancies, shipping issues, or short payments Partner with Sales and Customer Service to gather documentation and validate deduction claims when necessary Help maintain AR and deduction tracking logs to identify recurring issues or trends Support internal audit processes and help enforce compliance with accounting policies and procedures Support accounts payable tasks, such as processing vendor invoices, verifying payment details, and assisting with payment runs Assist with fixed asset tracking, accruals, and other general ledger support tasks as needed Set up and maintain customer accounts in ERP, ensuring complete and accurate financial data entry

What We're Looking For:

Minimum of 6 months of accounting or accounts receivable experience Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial discrepancies Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and AR processes Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Corporate Resources, on behalf of our client located in Streamwood, IL, is hiring an Accounting Specialist (Hybrid).
