As an AP Specialist, you'll play a hands‑on role in the day‑to‑day financial operations of the company, gaining exposure to month‑end close, audits, and cross‑functional collaboration while continuing to build your technical skills. You'll work closely with colleagues across the organization to ensure expenses are accurate, vendors are paid correctly, and financial records stay clean and reliable. This role is well suited for someone with a couple of years of experience who's ready to deepen their expertise and take ownership of important processes. What you'll work on: Helping ensure invoices and expenses are processed accurately by reviewing reports, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies Reviewing and processing employee and contractor expense reports and cash advance requests Managing weekly vendor invoices and supporting vendor account statements Reconciling corporate credit card activity and assisting with related questions Keeping organized records and documentation to support audits and internal reviews Partnering with the team during month‑end close, year‑end audit, and special projects Sharing responsibility for incoming mail and other team‑based operational needs Details about the role: Work location: Shelby Township, MI Work type: On-site at local Paslin locations. Not available for fully remote work.
Expected hours of work:
Typical work schedules for this site are flexible around core business hours of 7am-430pm, Monday to Friday. May involve additional hours during month‑end close or audit periods.Physical Demands:
This role requires the use of standard office equipment. Requires periods of visual and mental focused work.Candidate Qualifications:
Associate's degree in accounting or business administration preferred. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 2-4 years of experience in a similar role with practical exposure to invoice processing, expense reporting, or financial reconciliation is beneficial Experience working in an ERP or accounting system and proficiency in MS office applications Strong written and oral communication skills What's in It forYou:
