Pay:
$25.00-$31.00 per hour (Based on Experience) Join a Stable, Growing Insurance Organization We're seeking an Accounts Receivable / Agency Service Representative who enjoys combining accounting skills with exceptional customer service. Instead, you'll serve as a trusted resource for insurance agents and vendors by answering account-related questions, researching payment discrepancies, processing transactions, and helping maintain accurate financial records. What You'll Do Respond to inbound calls from insurance agents and vendors regarding account statements, balances, and payment inquiries Research and resolve payment discrepancies, duplicate payments, and reconciliation issues Apply premium payments accurately and process daily deposits Process EFTs, credit balances, direct bill payments, and mortgagee checks Maintain assigned accounts receivable portfolio with a goal of keeping accounts current Prepare weekly reports, including uncleared cash reports and status updates Generate payment reminders and account correspondence Review invoices and finance chargebacks to ensure account accuracy Process incoming mail, payments, and supporting documentation Support daily accounting operations while maintaining exceptional customer service What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounting Support, Payment Processing, Cash Applications, Reconciliations, or Bookkeeping Strong customer service skills with confidence handling inbound phone calls Excellent problem-solving and research abilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Professional verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude Insurance industry experience is strongly preferred but not required. Technology Skills We're looking for candidates who are comfortable with technology and eager to learn.

Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Microsoft Outlook Ability to quickly learn new software systems
Preferred:
Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies is a plus. Education High School Diploma or GED required Recent graduates with internship experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related fields are encouraged to apply if they have strong technical and computer skills.
