There will be an initial in-office training period of approximately 4-8 weeks at our corporate office in Ann Arbor, MI followed by primarily remote work from home with in-office rotation one day every 8-12 weeks. Handles high volume phone calls to assigned delinquent customers (primary job function). Monitors and maintains assigned accounts, including customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write offs, customer reconciliations and processing credit memos. Reduces delinquency for assigned accounts. Works on aging reports. Processes weekly and monthly reporting to direct supervisor. Processes monthly delinquency notices. Processes monthly credit memos and the appropriate reporting. Reconciles customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due. Provides excellent and considerate customer service. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Two to three (2-3) years of high volume collections experience. Knowledge of billing and collections procedures. Experience in accounts receivable. Strong attention to detail, goal oriented. Commitment to excellent customer service. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Ability to work independently.
