Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. This role focuses on managing a high volume of incoming payments , ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the revenue cycle. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong analytical skills, and is committed to precision and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and monitor high-volume accounts receivable transactions using NetSuite (preferred) or other accounting systems. Reconcile accounts receivable ledger accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Manage collections through phone and email, negotiate payment arrangements, and resolve billing issues efficiently. Prepare journal entries related to revenue recognition, account adjustments, and doubtful accounts in compliance with GAAP . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data entry and billing processes. Conduct account analysis to identify trends, overdue accounts, or potential cash flow issues. Maintain thorough documentation for audit readiness under SOX standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (BS) in Accounting, Finance, or related field required . Strong understanding of debits & credits, journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping , and account reconciliation. Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred; other ERP/accounting systems considered. Ability to manage high-volume accounts while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Strong communication and negotiation skills for client interactions. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask. #RJAF123
Pay:
$26.00 - $28.00 per hour
