Accounts Receivable/Deductions Specialist

Job Full Description Express Employment is seeking an accounts receivable deductions specialist for a pet and garden supply company.

Job duties:

Responsible for the deduction resolution and processing of credit memos to customer accounts

Skills:

Basic accounting knowledge, including credits, debits, general ledger Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, metric-driven environment Analytical, problem solver mindset, detail-oriented, organized, strong communicator, sense of urgency Self-starter, ability to work independently and within a team environment Ability to adapt to a change and handle multiple priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Outlook 3+ years of high volume accounts receivable and deduction resolution experience is a plus Experience in a profit center, cost center, and/or shared service environment is a plus ERP experience is a plus Consumer products experience is a plus Other details: Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Pay rate is $18/hr.
