Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the department by assisting with daily bookkeeping tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in corporate. Responsibilities:
Assist with data entry and maintenance of transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or Quicken Prepare journal entries and support double-entry bookkeeping processes in accordance Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing. Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including balance sheet reconciliation and analysis Help prepare reports, including basic financial statement writing for internal use Assist with payroll processing
Requirements:
Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms Knowledge of financial concepts related to corporate and non-profit accounting environments Ability to perform account reconciliation tasks accurately and efficiently Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; proficiency in 10 key typing is a plus Basic knowledge of budgeting processes and financial report writing Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within the team and support various functions Join us in a role that combines technical expertise with a passion for accuracy! Pay:
$47,056.73 - $68,670.46 per year
