Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper . In this role, you will manage the day-to-day financial record-keeping processes, ensuring accuracy. Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using ZOHO Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure consistency across all accounts. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently while verifying accuracy. Prepare journal entries, general ledger entries, and conduct general ledger reconciliation to support financial integrity. Ensure adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and maintain thorough documentation of all financial activities. Qualifications Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably within corporate or non-profit sectors. Strong proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and familiarity with other financial tools like Quicken. Solid understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account analysis. Experience with bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, general ledger accounting, and governmental accounting practices is highly desirable.
