King & McCleary LLC is an American Fork, Utah-based CPA firm providing personalized tax, accounting, payroll, and consulting services to individuals and businesses. Our tax team prepares returns, advises on planning and compliance, and supports clients across diverse entity types while building long-term relationships. We offer a collaborative environment where accountants can deepen technical expertise, engage directly with clients, and contribute to meaningful financial solutions. About the Role We are seeking a full-time, detail-oriented Accounting Bookkeeper to manage the monthly accounting for 20+ clients. This includes communicating with clients to ensure accurate accounting on transactions that occur on a monthly basis. In this role you will be working with the tax partners directly as you are helping to prepare accurate financial statements for tax return preparation, and as monthly deliverables to clients. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently, with a strong grasp of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices. Categorization of transactions from bank accounts and credit cards Perform monthly bank reconciliations Prepare monthly financial statements for clients in QuickBooks Desktop and QBO Understanding of Balance Sheet accounts and Income Statement accounts Communicate with clients on fixed asset purchases and properly booking transactions Various special projects that come up working with the Tax Partners in the firmRequired Skills:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QBO Basic understanding of U.S. accounting principles Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficient with Excel and basic accounting reportsSimilar remote jobs
