Local Texas CPA / Bookkeeper Mail Handling, Check Processing & Sales Tax Filings

We are looking for a Texas-based CPA or experienced bookkeeper to support ongoing accounting and administrative tasks for our business. This role requires someone local to the Dallas area (near Coppell) who can physically access our PO Box and handle financial documents securely.

Responsibilities :

Pick up mail from our PO Box in Coppell (weekly) Process incoming checks (scan and deposit to Frost Bank) Send weekly receivables summary (checks, ACH, and credit card payments) Handle general correspondence received via mail File monthly and quarterly sales tax returns (Texas and California)

Requirements:

Based in Texas (DFW area strongly preferred) CPA or experienced bookkeeper with sales tax filing experience Familiar with multi-state sales tax (TX & CA) Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to handle sensitive financial information Comfortable with light in-person tasks + remote reporting

Ongoing (weekly + monthly responsibilities)

Weekly check processing + receivables summary Timely mail handling Accurate sales tax filings (TX & CA)

Additional Notes :

This is a hybrid role involving both local physical tasks (mail pickup, check handling) and remote accounting work.

Pay:

$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
