GENERAL SCOPE
We are a bookkeeping firm that provides virtual and onsite accounting to small businesses primarily in the Portland, OR area. This position is for a part time bookkeeper with around 20 - 30 hours per week and is a 1099 contract position. It is perfect for individuals who are organized and accustomed to self-directed work. An ideal candidate will have the ability to learn new accounting systems quickly and efficiently.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Be responsible and accountable to the company's primary objectives by providing accounting services including payroll, reconciliations, AP/AR, reports, local filings and other accounting needs. This is a part time position with flexible hours and the ability to work virtually. A successful candidate will need the flexibility to be able follow up with clients during the day and will have great communication skills.
EXPERIENCE
with the following services: Inventory accounting 5+ Years of Payroll experience Quickbooks Enterprise and Quickbooks online Intuit Payroll Bill.com Local filings 5+ years of full service bookkeeping Strong accounting knowledge Problem solving and customer service Written procedures General computer literacy Microsoft Excel Construction accounting Property Management accounting
