Accounts Receivable Specialist

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist for a contract opportunity with one of our clients. This role is responsible for supporting billing, cash application, account reconciliation, and collections activities while helping maintain accurate financial records and strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities:

Generate and process customer invoices accurately and on timePost cash receipts, ACH payments, wires, and credit card transactionsReconcile accounts receivable balances and investigate discrepanciesMonitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balancesCommunicate with customers regarding billing questions and payment statusSupport collections efforts while maintaining professionalism and customer servicePrepare account statements and maintain organized documentationAssist with month-end close related to accounts receivableCollaborate with accounting and operations teams to resolve issues
