SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of BH Finance and Supply Chain Leadership - Supplier Accounts Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payment requests in support of clinical and non-clinical operations, continually driving to improved quality and greater efficiency. Performance must provide a high-level of customer service and operational support to the caregivers and departments Supply Chain supports across BH facilities.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works closely across supply chain functions and with BH stakeholders to maintain effective supplier relationships and support uninterrupted patient care: Reviews and processes supplier invoices and other internal and external payment requests with a high level of accuracy. Ensures invoices are matched with purchase orders and supporting documentation. Resolves issues, exceptions, and discrepancies promptly. Effectively communicates with suppliers to verify billing accuracy and respond to payment inquiries. Collaborates with requestors to verify the receipt and usage of orders, as necessary. Monitors statements and outstanding balances for aging payment requests. Fervently maintains applicable records and files per standard processes and policy. Supports internal and external audits, if requested. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required including duties of peers to assist with workload. Refers specific complex problems to leadership when clarification or guidance is required.SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Microsoft Office products, especially Excel Communication skills (verbal, written, visual) Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment People skills to effectively represent BH and Supply Chain in interactions with all levels of personnel within and outside the organization.EXPERIENCE
Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Familiarity with healthcare procurement systems and supplier requirements is preferred Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Workday, PeopleSoft, or Epic) is an advantage.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
