The Columbia office of Nelson Mullins would like to add an Accounts Payable Assistant to its Accounting Department team! The Accounts Payable Assistant will play an integral role in the accounting department's success. Prepare batches of invoices and expenses payment. You will communicate with vendors about payments and maintain vendor records. You will send domestic and foreign wire transfers, and research and resolve wire validation errors, returned wires, etc. The ideal candidate must be computer literate, work well under pressure, have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of accounts payable and wire processing experience, with an aptitude to complete work timely and accurately. Candidate must have sound oral and written communications skills, along with a capacity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and a drive to deliver outstanding results. Candidate must possess attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data.
