Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAutomotive Accounting Specialist Description of the role: The Automotive Accounting Specialist position with Mills Automotive Group is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and dynamic team. This role is suitable for an experienced professional who has a strong background in dealership accounting and is looking to take on a role that can grow into a leadership position!
Responsibilities:
Reconcile G/L account balances and schedules Daily deposit reconciliation Cash receipt posting Credit card batch processing Service & warranty receivable posting Customer A/R reconciliation Posting Wholesales and dealer trades Inventory additions and removals Deal Flow log & Clean Up Serve as backup for all accounting positions in the office Assist with month-end duties Ensure policies and procedures are upheld Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions related to the dealerships Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Requirements:
Dealership accounting experience a plus CDK system experience a plus Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
