Job Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an organized accounting professional with strong data entry skills, invoice processing experience, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Accounts Payable Clerk will play a key role in supporting the finance team with day-to-day accounts payable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process a high volume of invoices accurately and in a timely mannerMatch invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentsVerify approvals and coding prior to payment processingPrepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfersReconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepanciesMaintain accurate vendor records and update payment information as neededRespond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely mannerAssist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payableSupport filing, documentation, and audit preparation as needed
