Job Description

Job DescriptionJob Description Accounts Receivable Specialist Community Association Management Company looking for analytical accounts receivable professional with a focus on detail to oversee billing, and receivable processes for homeowner assessments. In this role, you will send out past due notices, review accounts with clients, process closings and confer with legal for collections accounts. Provide assistance to with budgets and year end audits. To succeed as an account receivable professional, you must have full knowledge of account receivable procedures with the ability to conduct complete and thorough research when necessary. In this position you must be initiative-taking, organized, and keep meticulous account notes. This position also requires excellent communication skills, and strong math and computer skills.
Account Receivable and Other Tasks:
Maintain billing and verification of proper billing. Daily verification of lockbox processing and proper posting. Maintain data through processing out sellers and buyers in after property transition. Process payments received in office. Process delinquency notices based on collection policy. Coordinate referral of unpaid accounts to attorney. Collaborate with other team members to ensure account accuracy. Work with other accounting team members to complete budgets and year end audits. Aid owners with account questions.
Accounts Receivable Requirements:
At least 2 years' experience in a similar role. Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software. Excellent communication skills written, verbal and listening. Research, problem-solving, and time management skills. Elevated level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. Ability to work independently and with others. Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments. HOA experience helpful
