Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and supporting daily financial operations. Responsibilities Prepare the daily bank reconciliations. Prepare and process bank deposits daily. Scan accounts payable documents daily for each respective company. Sort and prepare incoming and outgoing mail. Provide coverage for phones. Support the reception area for guests and suppliers. Organize and maintain accounts payable documentation. Essential Skills Proficient in accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and invoicing. Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel. Ability to handle confidential information ethically and professionally. Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Self-starter who enjoys a dynamic, challenging work environment. Detail-oriented and takes pride in preparing quality work. Experience working for multiple companies and managing multiple systems. Work Environment This position is fully on-site, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. You will report directly to a sr. staff member and work closely with a Staff Accountant who oversees bank reconciliations. The role also involves collaboration with Controllers and three other team members within the Accounts Payable department. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint George, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
