Description:
EPC Power is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and a strong background in accounting. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting the overall financial health of the company.

Responsibilities :
Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments. Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions. Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals and documentation. Assist in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and accruals. Monitor and manage the accounts payable inbox, responding to vendor inquiries promptly. Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) is a plus.
