Immediately Job Description Anderson County High School is seeking a bookkeeper for the 2026-2027 school year. Under the direction of the principal, performs a variety of clerical and support work involving both specific routines and broadly defined policies and procedures; greets and interacts with the public, works cooperatively with staff, students, and parents, and performs other related duties as assigned. Performs bookkeeping functions relative to the efficient operation of the respective elementary school. Performs all data entry and other standard bookkeeping activities. Candidate must have a minimum of high school diploma, including GED; clerical/secretary experience; accounting experience; strong organizational skills; ability to communicate effectively; attention to detail; able to multi task; able to meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn Skyward software is required. Knowledge of and experience with multiple facets of the Anderson County School District is a plus.
