Accounts Payable Specialist (Intern)

The Opportunity:

The Accounting/Finance Intern is a student enrolled in a four-year degree program at a college or University who assists in the day-to-day accounting processes and responsibilities within the Finance Department. Under the supervision of the Corporate Controller, the Intern is responsible for a variety of functions pertaining to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial support functions. The ability to take direction, as needed, from supervisors is required.

Responsibilities:

Assist with weekly Accounts Payable processing Print and match monthly custom invoices Prepare basic Balance Sheet reconciliations Shadow members of the accounting team as they perform their duties Perform general clerical duties to assist accounting teams such as filing, scanning and data entry Other duties as assigned
