The ideal candidate will be personable, organized, detailed, self-starting, follows through, ambitious and logical. They will be comfortable and confident enough to ask questions, posess amazing communication skills, understand the importance of confidentiality, demonstrate great spelling (and/or know how to use spell check), and have good reading/listening comprehension with a solid work ethic.
ESSENTIAL
in supporting client accounting operations, with a focus on accurate Titles, bank deposit preparation and other accounting office functions.The ideal candidate will be personable, organized, detailed, self-starting, follows through, ambitious and logical. They will be comfortable and confident enough to ask questions, posess amazing communication skills, understand the importance of confidentiality, demonstrate great spelling (and/or know how to use spell check), and have good reading/listening comprehension with a solid work ethic.
AUTOMOTIVE ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry for vehicle sales, inventory, and financial transactions
- Reconcile deal paperwork for compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Verify documents for accuracy and completeness before final processing
- Collaborate with sales and finance departments to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain and organize deal jackets and accounting records
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and reports
- Complete Title work for in/out of state
- Gather and scan any Accounts Payable paperwork
- Perform general office and administrative tasks as needed
- Basic HR knowledge to onboard, keep employee files, enforce clocking in/out
- Knowledge of daily cash receipts and completing deposits
- Assist with payroll preparation
- Sort mail & distribute internally and scan to proper destinations
- Distribute checks for signatures and mail them out
Payoff Trades and Street Purchases Qualifications :
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Previous automotive accounting is a MUST
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Dealertrack DMS accounting software is desirable
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Capable of exercising discretion when declining requests
- Actively engages by asking thoughtful questions
- Shows integrity by owning and correcting errors.
Pay:
