Accounting Specialist

Accounting Specialist Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Prepare and distribute invoices and monitor payment activity Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Maintain accurate financial records and organized digital documentation Support daily accounting operations and bookkeeping functions Assist with improving accounting workflows and operational efficiency Collaborate with finance leadership to ensure timely financial processing Maintain electronic files within a paperless accounting environment Assist with monthly close, preparing journal entries as needed Provide general accounting support as business needs evolve Required Qualifications 3+ years of accounting experience with strong exposure to AP and AR Experience working within accounting software systems Experience working in a professional services environment (legal industry exposure is helpful but not required) Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy Ability to manage responsibilities independently with minimal supervision Familiarity with Mac-based systems or willingness to learn Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
